Cashless Payment to See Parking Lots in 14 Markets

The PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo along with Perumda Pasar Jaya and PT BNI TBK, are collaborating to open parking lots in 14 market points in Jakarta.

This system is still under trial and error stage

Corporate Legal and Communication PT Jakarta Utilitas Propertindo Department Head, Hafidh Fathoni disclosed that they are completed by a system connected with Jakarta Tax and Regional Retribution Agency (BPRD). It is able to monitor every vehicle whether they have paid taxes or not.

"This system is still under trial and error stage and being discussed," he expressed, Tuesday (5/7).

Aside that, the payment system does not use cash but BNI card.

"Bank BNI is interested in this collaboration. It is targeted to launch our project by the end of June," he told. 

Perumda Pasar Jaya President Director, Arief Nasrudin explained that a number of markets will be involved, namely Palmerah, Cempaka Putih and Pasen in Central Jakarta, as well as Glodok, Pejagalan and Jembatan Lima in West Jakarta.

There are also Ciracas, Cibubur, Pramuka, Palmeriam, Rawamangun, Sunan Giri and Perumnas Klender in East Jakarta, as well as Cipete Utara in South Jakarta.

"It will be socialized in the first six months and continued with cashless," he said.
